Our journey in knitted fabric began in 1994 with five knitting machines and gained colour with the dyehouse we founded in 1997. Over time our capacity grew and we became stronger with new and renewed technology and automation. In the hands of an experienced team who love their work, our company produces 22 tonnes of knitted dyed fabric a day and keeps moving forward with confidence.

We serve the domestic market and export directly to Romania, where we keep our own warehouse, as well as to Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Ukraine, Lithuania and Morocco.

Born in Malatya in 1950, Nüvit Karagözlü is the founder and chairman of the three companies of Karagözlüler Group. He served for many years on the board and as president of the assembly of the Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and has held board positions at the Merter Businessmen’s Association, the Malatya Education Foundation and İTHİB.

Having started his business life in Malatya and continued it in Istanbul, Nüvit Karagözlü is married with four children and runs Karagözlüler Group as a family company. Karagözlüler Tekstil, the first company he founded, employs close to 300 people and, together with Penye Textil, its first office abroad in Romania, serves many brands at home and abroad.

In construction, Karagözlüler continues to deliver projects in partnership with Önay Grup and Doruk GYO, and runs its own projects as KRG İnşaat Turizm A.Ş.

Nüvit Karagözlü, whose greatest passion in life is “work, work, work”, is an exemplary manager and leader known for his humane and open minded approach.
